Wedding Ceremonies
We have several different wedding packages to choose from to fit every budget. Whether it's a simple civil ceremony, a traditional Celtic Handfasting, or a special theme wedding, we will make your day as unique as you are. We believe a wedding is about celebrating a couple's commitment to each other, and therefor should be about THEM, not what Great Aunt Martha wants! (no offense to Great Aunt Martha!) Our wedding packages can include Special "Celebrity" Officiants or Themes customized for the bride and groom. If it is your dream to be married by a Storm Trooper or at a Medieval Renaissance Faire we can help make that dream a reality.

Handfasting Marriage Ceremony
Welcome Everyone! Today is the day Maria and Brandon have chosen to become husband and wife. We have been asked to share in the happiness that they have found in each other and to witness the commitment they have made. They will share their lives together and with all of you. Within the framework of commitment and loyalty, a strong marriage is built with sincerity and understanding, tolerance and confidence, trust and love. The things that have drawn you together will continue to grow and develop into a lasting relationship as you share your life together. A happy marriage will enable you to establish a home filled with love and stability where your family and friends will always be welcome.
We who are witnessing your marriage hope that despite the stresses inevitable in any life, your love and respect for each other and your trust and understanding of each other will increase your commitment to each other and heighten your joy together.
Before you are joined together in marriage I am bound to remind you of the solemn and firm nature of the relationship into which you are about to enter. Marriage is a voluntary commitment to each other and must be entered into with the desire, hope and firm intention that it will last for life. Love is patient, love is kind. Love does not envy. Love does not boast, is not proud, it is not rude, and it is not self-seeking. Love is not easily angered; it keeps no record of wrong. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes and always perseveres. Love never fails. Love endures whatever comes, and true love does not come to an end.
At this time I ask who gives this woman and this man to each other marriage? (Families of bride and groom respond) And I ask you both now, Maria and Brandon, do you come here freely and by your own choice to be wed? If so, please say “I do.”
May I have the rings please?
The ring is a circle with no end. It is made of precious metal and enduring stones, just as your union is precious and enduring. Let these rings be a symbol of your union, and a constant reminder of the promises you make here today. Please repeat after me
I Brandon, take you Maria, to be my lawfully wedded wife. To have and to hold from this day forward, in good times and in bad, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health until death do us part.
I Maria, take you Brandon, to be my lawfully wedded husband. To have and to hold from this day forward, in good times and in bad, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health until death do us part.
Maria and Brandon, is there anything further you would like to say at this time?
(Personal vows)
Handfasting is a centuries old tradition that literally bound a husband and wife together, and is where we get the modern day term “tying the knot.”
At this time, Brandon, and Maria will now be tied by Divine Power in the name of Love. With these ribbons, I bind you to the vows that you each have made. As your hands are bound together now, so your lives and spirits are joined in a union of joy, love, trust, and mutual support. This bond I draw between you: That though you are parted in mind or in body, there will be a call in the core of you, one to the other, to which no one else will answer. By the secrets of earth and water this bond is woven--unbreakable, irrevocable; by the law that created fire and wind this call is set in you, in life and beyond life.
With this binding I tie you, heart to heart, together as one. Brandon and Maria, together repeat after me…Heart to thee...soul to thee...body to thee...one family forever and always.
With this knot you are joined in sacred union. You have declared before your family and friends your intent, You have made special promises to each other which have been symbolized by the binding of hands and exchanging of rings, and these have all been witnessed by all present here. By the authority vested in me it is now my great pleasure to pronounce you Husband and Wife. Seal it with a kiss!

(Reading) A Poem by Kahlil Gibran
Love one another, but make not a bond of love:
Let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls.
Fill each other’s cup but drink not from one cup.
Give one another of your bread but eat not from the same loaf.
Sing and dance together and be joyous, but let each one of you be alone, even as the strings of a lute are alone though they quiver with the same music.
Give your hearts, but not into each other’s keeping, for only the hand of life can contain your hearts.
And stand together, yet not too near together;
For the pillars of the temple stand apart, and the oak tree and the cypress grow not in each other’s shadows.
_Allison and Ryan, in the days ahead of you, there will be times of difficulty and conflict. When you find yourselves in these situations, I ask you to reflect on this marriage advice::

Learn the wisdom of compromise, for it is better to bend than to break.
Look for the best in your beloved rather than the worst.
Confide in your partner and ask for help when you need it.
Remember that true friendship is the basis for any lasting relationship.
Give your spouse the same courtesies and kindnesses you bestow on your friends.

Do you promise to love and cherish her, in sickness and in health, for richer for poorer, for better for worse, and keep yourself only unto her?

Rings:
Allison and Ryan have chosen rings as outward symbols of the commitment they make today. From earliest times, the ring has been a symbol of wedded love. An unbroken and never-ending circle symbolizes a commitment to love that is also never ending. Ryan, take the ring which you have selected, place it on Allison's finger, and say to her these words.:
This ring, a gift for you, symbolizes my desire that you be my wife from this day forward. Allison, take the ring which you have selected, place it on Ryan's finger, and say to him these words.:
This ring, a gift for you, symbolizes my desire that you be my wife from this day forward.
Let these rings serve not as locks binding you together, but as keys, unlocking the secrets of your hearts for each other to know, and thus bringing you closer together forever.
Unity Candle or Sand Ceremony(Optional)
Closing:
May the sun bring you new energy by day.
May the moon softly restore you by night.
May the rain wash away your worries.
